Why The Long Island Beach Buggy Association?

Why Join the LIBBA? What do I get out of it?  I have worked many shows for the LIBBA through the years. I have met many people and signed up a lot of members. Because I’m a great salesmen? No. Mostly I think because I truly believe that every member makes a difference. Most people take their access for granted. Most people believe that it’s going to be there forever. But will it? As I said, I feel I make a difference and I also believe you make a difference. FACT: If it weren’t for associations like the LIBBA and our sister organization MSA you wouldn’t be driving on the beach today. We work hand and hand with State and County to better protect and preserve our beautiful beaches and shorelines here on Long Island so that the next generation will be able to enjoy them also. I have made many friends since joining the LIBBA that have become lifetime friends. Why, because they cared enough to become part of the solution rather then part of the problem. As a member of the LIBBA you can become involved as much as you want .We hold monthly meetings that are open to our members. We have a Jamboree once a year that is worth your membership fee alone. It’s a wonderful family day. We hold our elections in March, which is our annual meeting. Always heavily attended .We do beach grass planting, beach clean-ups, we do our shows every year, collect toys for the kids in the winter. From time to time we also have beach-driving classes. When you are on the beach and you have a problem a LIBBA member will usually stop and lend a hand. So why wouldn’t you want to join the LIBBA? If you drive on the beach you should be a member .You will be helping to protect the beach access for yourself and the generations that follow. Be apart of the solution.    Join LIBBA today!
