On March 6th 2011 Mr. William
Lomnicki, the president of The Long Island Beach Buggy Association (LIBBA)
“Keepers of the Beach” was presented an award on behalf of the National Society,
Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).
The conservation national chairman Julie
Therloux and the president general Merry Ann Thompson Wright of the DAR honored
Mr. Lomnicki with a plaque and pin for his dedication to the preservation of the
natural resources of our country.
This distinguished award was given to Mr. Lomnicki for his work through
the conservation programs that LIBBA has performed in the past, present and are
committed to in the future.
In attendance were Jack Hawthone HODAR,
Barbara Meszaros DAR, Christine Smith DAR, Judy Hawthrone DAR, William Lomnicki
LIBBA, Paul Noguier HODAR/LIBBA, Bea Noguier DAR/LIBBA and Sue Griffing DAR.
